Hi, my name is Yvonne.
I have been working with Jo/Learning with Dyslexia for several years now, mainly in the areas of GCSE English and maths.
My work focuses more on exam techniques such as analysis, ‘picking out relevant/important information’, timings etc. supporting students with varying forms and degrees of additional learning need.
My background of working in ‘Care’ has helped me to work with students who have mental health and/or behavioural issues, resulting from a lack of diagnosis or their learning needs not being met.
I believe that each individual student should be equipped with the tools they need to demonstrate their unique abilities, be that technique or technology.
